Dana Reynolds - Sacred Imagination

Dana was ordained a Roman Catholic Womanpriest, July 2006. For more information about the Roman Catholic Womenpriests’ movement please visit www.romancatholicwomenpriests.org.  She is a Spiritual Director with a degree in Religious Studies.

For twenty years Dana has been facilitating spiritual retreats and workshops for groups nationwide.  Her ministry as a spiritual director provides individual support and spiritual assistance for those who are seeking guidance for their spirits and experiential tools for living a sacred life.  As a womanpriest, Dana is available as celebrant for marriages, baptisms, and other sacred life passages.

Her background includes spiritual work/support with AIDS/HIV patients.  She is currently a Volunteer Chaplain for Hospice of the Central Coast.

Dana is a certified labyrinth facilitator who has made pilgrimages to France to explore Chartres Cathedral as a source of inspiration and knowledge for her work.  Her nationwide classes and lectures center on topics including; Women’s Sacred Wisdom, Contemplative Monastic Practices, and The Ancient Feminine Mystics.

She is a PeerSpirit Circle facilitator and in 2002 she traveled to the Isle of Iona, Scotland to take part in an international conclave of circle facilitators.

Dana is the author of Be An Angel (Simon & Schuster).  Her essay, Visual Prayers is included in the anthology, Our Turn, Our Time: Women Truly Coming of Age.  For two years she was a monthly columnist for Soulfulliving.com   She has a B.A. in Religious Studies.

Her interests include; iconography, monastic contemplative practices and the creative process.  Dana is a mother and grandmother and she lives with her husband of thirty-nine years in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
